Our vision is to live in a community committed to reconnecting with and deepening into earthbound meaning, where together we notice, celebrate, mourn, and learn from our collective entanglements with the more-than-human world.
Through co-creating and sharing stories, meals, skills, tools, and ways of being, we take the next steps needed to create a foundation for future generations to remember and celebrate their place in the greater relational web.
By way of call and response, we support a localized intersection of earth-aligned economies and cultures. Acknowledging the severed relations that have landed humans in our current constellation of crises, we direct ourselves toward the work of relational repair: ecological, human-based, and that between human and more-than-human worlds.
In this way, we aim to create a hub in the Sunny Slope region of Idaho, and that as part of a greater network of such nodes, we will promote ways of being that are increasingly aligned with that which gives us life.
Polum Bolum is made up of a crew of passionate farmers, artisans, and educators. We have our roots in the Sunny Slope region of Southwestern Idaho at our core home, Peaceful Belly Farm.
