Summer Camps

These exciting new programs have been such a gift to the community garden this past summer.

We offer three different camps throughout the summer. All of our current camps are geared toward children aged 10-16 and 13-18, but we hope to be expanding our camps in the future so keep your eyes peeled! If you have a few kids that are younger than we plan for we can make special arrangements if your youngest has an older sibling that can look after them at camp. Email us at community@polumbolum.org

Each camp is located in the community garden at Peaceful Belly Farm and has a range of different skills that we focus on for three days at a time!

What to Expect at Camp :

  • We will be set up in the community garden classroom at Peaceful Belly Farm.

  • Every camp is three days long from 9 am -3 pm. We understand that these hours can be hard to accommodate for guardians who have jobs- email us and we can make arrangements on a time basis that works for you.

  • We will be making our lunch as a community for every camp. The kids will harvest prepare and serve lunch for themselves and for the farm crew every day. If your kiddo is really picky please send them with snacks they like so they don’t go hungry, but we would prefer that they eat what we prepare together as a way of building community.

  • We will get dirty! We are working outside in the garden, playing with mud, running in sprinklers, all the fun stuff. Make sure your kid wears movement-appropriate clothing that they could get wet or dirty.

  • If you have signed up, we will email you more info about what your kiddo will need what we will do each day and if you need to send them with each day.

  • LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS!! EMAIL: community@polumbolum.org
